Job Description Please note that this role DOES NOT offer Tier 2 sponsorship Physical Health Nurse Up to.5 Hours per week Monday-Friday As a Physical Health Nurse within a specialist inpatient mental health unit you’ll be the steady clinical anchor for young. You’ll be the driving force behind each patient’s physical wellbeing guiding their care with confidence and heart. This is a predominantly Monday‑Friday position (37.5 hours per week) offering structure while still giving you the satisfaction of being hands‑on with varied clinical needs. What You’ll Bring Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with active NMC registration. At least 2 years post‑qualification experience. Experience in NG feeding and phlebotomy essential for this role. A genuine passion for empowering young people and delivering excellent person‑centred care. The ability to navigate dynamic clinical situations with calmness, clarity and a collaborative mindset. Complete thorough assessments and shape personalised care plans that support recovery. Work closely with the management team, GPs and speech & language therapists to coordinate seamless holistic care. Carry out NG feeding and phlebotomy with confidence and accuracy. Monitor ongoing physical health needs, identifying risks and supporting early interventions. Contribute to a warm stabilising and supportive clinical environment that helps young people feel safe.
