Production Operative – Qualitrol (Belfast, Northern Ireland) Qualitrol Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom Production Operative – Join the Operations Team to support the growth‑focused strategy for the Qualitrol organization. Role Description A Production Operative will be involved in the project and flow sides of the business as required, supporting operations according to business needs. Essential Duties (not exhaustive) Ensure own and fellow team members’ safety is a priority; Work to defined health and safety requirements, support safety‑led initiatives; Assembly of mechanical metalwork and product components; Preparation and termination of wiring and read from electrical schematic drawings; Work to defined standard work requirements and pack equipment as instructed; Adhere to quality standards and PPE/work wear requirements; Support Continuous Improvement initiatives; Assemble various sub‑assemblies for production and inspect parts for use on production; Maintain a clean and tidy working area; Flexible approach to tasks in a busy working environment, set timescales and achieve deadlines; Work efficiently as part of a team. Essential Criteria, Applicants Must Be Able To Demonstrate 1 year of experience in electrical and mechanical assembly in a manufacturing/production environment; Proficient in MS Office and other computer software systems; Experience working from electrical schematic drawings; High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Relevant experience using a variety of hand, power and air tools; Ability to work both independently and in a team, using initiative. This role requires working on foot for extended periods of time.
