OverviewThe Fold is looking for a Junior Product Developer to work very closely with the Buying, Production and Garment Tech teams.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Design team with creating tech packs - filling in BOMs and specifications for each product.Produce technical drawings for new stylesRaw material sourcing - updating suppliers with seasonal mood boards and directing fabric sourcing based on theseResponsible for trim sourcing and developmentHelping to create alignment of trim standards across multiple suppliersLaunch tech packs directly with suppliers - ensuring sampling has been arranged and correct patterns sent or requestedEnsure all work is accurate and clear to facilitate seamless communication with manufacturersHelp build relationships with key new suppliersAssisting in ordering sampling and raising sampling POsProvide regular updates to designers on sample progress, material developments, and production challenges.Update and maintain sampling and product trackersHelping to update product BOMs following fittings and product sign-offsProfileA clear understanding of the design aesthetic of The FoldSkilled with Photoshop and IllustratorStrong MicrosoftOffice skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalTeam player who collaborates with easeA strong organiser who prioritises with ease and understands the importance of excellent time managementDemonstrates a ‘can-do’ attitude to workAbility to analyse problems and offer solutionsA sharp eye and attention to detail, as this is a fast-paced roleExperience developing structured dresses, tops and jackets is a plusBenefits and perks25 days holidays (including bank holidays)Buy additional holidaysEmployee Assistance ProgrammePension salary sacrifice schemeAccess to free Financial AdvisorsGrocery scheme to help you save moneyClothing allowanceA friends and family discount policy with 50% off full retail priceEnhanced maternity paySummer Friday hoursEye careFully stocked snack cupboards, fruits and coffee & teaRegular Social Events - including summer and Christmas partiesVolunteeringOur CultureWe are an ambitious, supportive, passionate team who love what we do.
