Base are looking for a Technical Pre Sales ConsultantYou’ll act as the technical bridge between our clients, sales, and engineering teams shaping bespoke cloud-based media solutions that transform how content is stored, managed, and delivered.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the technical liaison during the pre-sales phase, translating business needs into scalable media-centric technical solutionsBuild bespoke demos to customer requirements in solution demos, POCs, and pilot projects to validate workflows and integrations, acting as the lead point of contact for demo planning, delivery, and stakeholder engagementDesign, document, and present end-to-end architectures covering post- production workflows, MAM platforms, and cloud deploymentsLead technical sessions to understand client infrastructure, content lifecycle, and workflow pain pointsProduce high-quality technical proposals, solution overviews, and architecture diagrams for client presentations and RFP responsesAct as a strategic conduit between sales and engineering teams, ensuring client requirements are accurately translated into technical capabilities and product enhancementsCollaborate with sales and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are viable and aligned with operational delivery capabilitiesAct as a thought leader for the client and internal teams on emerging technologies relevant to media and entertainmentDocument and share reusable pre-sales materials, ensuring continuous improvement of the solutions knowledgebaseProvide feedback to product and engineering teams to help shape roadmap direction based on client needsDemonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, effectively coordinating across internal teams including commercial, product and engineering as well as with external clients to align solution delivery with business objectivesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of the media technology landscape including storage platforms, cloud services, encoding/transcoding, file acceleration, and workflow orchestration toolsEngage and build relationships with technical and business stakeholders, including CTOs, Heads of Production, and Digital Strategy leadsSkills and Attributes3+ years in a Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or equivalent client-facing technical roleProven experience designing and delivering end-to-end cloud-based media solutions (e.g., ingest, storage, transcode, editing, delivery)Deep understanding of post-production workflows including editing, conforming, versioning, and masteringSolid experience with MAM platforms, metadata models, and content lifecycle managementDemonstrate strong presentation skills, technical fluency, and the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences, effectively translating complex solutions into clear, value-driven demonstrationsUnderstanding of RESTful APIs, integration design, and workflow automationProven ability to produce client-facing architecture diagrams and technical documentationExceptional communication and presentation skills comfortable speaking to both technical, non-technical users and C-level executivesFluent in English, with excellent written and spoken communicationFluency in additional languages is considered an asset, though not essential to the roleExperience working with a mix of enterprise clients and independent production/post companiesSelf-starter, able to manage time, priorities, and client engagements with minimal supervisionAbility to think strategically, identify opportunities, and develop creative solutions to drive growthHow to applyPlease CLICK HERE to see this role on our own website, and apply.We would love to hear why you want to work for Base and what you will bring to the table.
