Senior Care Assistant (Days) Employer: Greensleeves Care Location: Buckler’s Lodge, Woodcote Green, Crowthorne, RG45 6HZ Pay: £13.87 – £15.67 per hour Hours: Full‑time and part‑time available Shift Pattern: 8am–8pm long day; expectation to work every other weekend Closing Date: 3/12/2025 Overview Senior Care Assistant tasks include assisting residents with personal care, answering call bells, ensuring healthcare needs are met by liaising with GP’s, district nurses, chiropodists and other professionals. You will support all care, domestic and kitchen staff to run the home efficiently and create a positive atmosphere for residents. Responsibilities Help to ensure that all care, domestic and kitchen staff contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the home and the creation of the right atmosphere. Assist residents with their personal care needs. Answer call bells, emergency bells, phone calls and greet visitors. Ensure the healthcare needs of the residents are met by liaising with GP’s, district nurses, chiropodists and other health professionals. Qualifications and Experience Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) Diploma in Social Care Level 2 or other relevant qualification. Proven ability and experience in safe administration of medication. Understanding of the importance of confidentiality. Experience of providing care.
