Location: This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work remotely and from our offices in UK, Germany, or Switzerland. The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Director of Margin Optimisation to lead pricing strategy and margin performance across the EMEA region for RS Group. This is a senior leadership role within our Product & Supplier Management (P&SM) function, driving strategic direction, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making to maximize commercial performance. What You Will Be Doing Lead and develop teams responsible for pricing and margin optimisation across EMEA. Direct pricing strategies and margin optimisation programs to improve profitability and commercial outcomes. Represent EMEA in the Group pricing community, owning tools, processes, and initiatives. Establish frameworks and cadence for identifying and exploiting margin opportunities using data-driven insights. Partner with category teams to optimize procurement and cost price management. Develop and manage commercial tools and systems for pricing and margin (e.g., quotations, bids, tenders). Drive continuous improvement and efficiency through process and technology enhancements. Build a culture of transparency and high-quality performance management. Provide strategic counsel to senior stakeholders on pricing and margin optimisation. What You Will Bring Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Financial Economics, or Econometrics. Considerable experience in pricing and margin optimisation within a relevant business context. Strong analytical and project management skills, with proficiency in pricing tools and processes. Proven leadership experience, including managing senior stakeholders and building high-performing teams. Ability to influence and communicate complex ideas effectively across diverse audiences. Strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset. Experience in international, matrixed organizations and cross-cultural collaboration.
