Duty Manager – Hotel du Vin (Frasers Hospitality) Join our team in Edinburgh as a hands‑on manager in a busy, bustling hotel. Overview The Duty Manager will oversee smooth operation of all customer‑facing departments, working closely with the Food & Beverage, Front Office and Housekeeping teams. Your experience as a Junior HoD will develop into a Senior HoD and beyond. Responsibilities Assist in the day‑to‑day management of breakfast, check‑out periods, and housekeeping coordination. Ensure excellent guest relations and service standards across all departments. Support and develop staff, providing on‑the‑job training and coaching. Monitor operational performance and meet key performance indicators. Represent the hotel at local events and promotions, staying informed on local trends. Qualifications & Experience Prior experience as a Junior or Senior HoD in a busy Food & Beverage environment. Strong knowledge of guest relations and customer service. Excellent communication, teamwork and problem‑solving skills. Leadership experience with a proven track record of staff development. Career Development Opportunity to progress to Head of Department – single or multi‑department roles.
