Position As a Quality Specialist, you serve as a pivotal leader in ensuring that aluminum can products meet and exceed established quality and food safety standards. You develop and implement quality assurance protocols, conduct detailed analyses, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to enhance product integrity, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities Implement the Quality Management System designed by the Global Quality team, aligning plant goals and local regulatory requirements. Lead internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance with all relevant standards. Identify improvement areas, develop action plans, and lead cross‑functional teams to enhance product quality and process efficiency. Deliver training programs to improve quality competencies of team members across the plant. Lead quality improvement projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timely and successful outcomes. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in quality or packaging. Food or packaging background. Technical Certificate or Associate Degree. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt) and Food Safety certifications (e.g., HACCP). Familiarity with advanced quality tools and software, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), Minitab, ERP systems, control chart setup, analysis, and interpretation. Advanced problem‑solving ability; lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Experience with digital or manual quality data entry systems and audits. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food‑contact requirements in can manufacturing. Experience in product isolation, traceability, non‑conformance documentation, and audit readiness.
