OverviewI am currently working with a well-established and reputable law firm that is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Executive to join their successful Real Estate department based in Brighton.This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, diverse, and proactive team where you’ll be exposed to high-quality residential and commercial property work, supporting an experienced fee-earner and gaining valuable hands-on experience.The RoleYou will assist in the running of live files and support your supervisor across all aspects of conveyancing transactions, from initial instruction through to post-completion. The position offers both challenge and variety, with genuine opportunities for career progression within a supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with all stages of conveyancing transactions (instruction to completion)Opening new files and completing AML compliance checksPreparing reports on title, mortgages, and searches (with supervision)Raising and reviewing enquiries on title, contracts, searches, and surveys (with supervision)Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and solicitors to progress matters efficientlyDrafting financial statements and invoicesManaging exchange, completion, and post-completion formalitiesHandling general administrative tasks and updating internal and external systemsProviding excellent client service and maintaining strong working relationshipsThe Ideal CandidatePrevious paralegal or legal executive experience within a conveyancing environment is essentialGood working knowledge of the conveyancing process from instruction to completionExperience raising enquiries, reviewing replies, and drafting reports (under supervision)Ideally holds relevant legal qualifications (CILEX or equivalent), though training support is available for alternative qualification routesConfident, organised, and able to work effectively to timescalesCommercially aware, with strong communication and interpersonal skillsTeam player with a proactive and flexible approachWhat’s on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageExposure to high-quality conveyancing work in a respected Real Estate teamSupportive and collaborative working environmentExcellent prospects for career progression within the firmTraining and support for professional development or qualification routesIf you would be interested in finding out more about this role or hear about any other opportunities please reach out to Rhian Thompson at QED Legal (rhian.thompson@qedlegal.com) or alternatively click on the "APPLY" button below. #J-18808-Ljbffr
