We create better places where people and planet prosper.We are looking to recruit a Group Marketing Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team in our Edinburgh Office reporting to the Group Head of Marketing.A role within the Miller Homes Group function in Edinburgh reporting to the Group Head of Marketing. Working closely with the wider Group Sales, Marketing and Communications team, our appointed agencies, and the Group IT function. Providing support to regional Sales and Marketing teams and the wider business to achieve the Group’s business targets and aspirations.Key Functional Areas:Assist with the dual brand strategy creation, implementation and future development across both the Miller Homes and the St Modwen Homes brands.Assisting the Group Head of Marketing with the integration, management and development of the St Modwen Homes brand and all related marketing content and customer collateral including the website, ensuring differentiation with the Miller Homes brand.Work across both Miller Homes and St Modwen Homes brands to:Liaise with advertising, media, design/brand, digital agencies on projects related to both brands.Assist with innovative idea generation and project management.Work with Group Digital Marketing Manager on website content management, testing and development, marketing content and copy creation for both websites.Work with Group Communications Manager to ensure social and PR strategy is consistent with marketing and campaigns strategy set by Group Head of Marketing and work together on content creation.Marketing liaison for product visualisation creation of the St Modwen Homes standard product range following the principles of the Miller Homes visualisation offering.Assist with regional marketing management liaison and roll out of operational marketing initiatives.Assist with templates for advertising and marketing emails.Assist with marketing campaign content preparation and agency liaison.Assist with the maintenance and development of customer journey communications.Involvement in the marketing of the customer options choices and communications.Creation of marketing and sales video content.Conduct regular research as required and analyse and recommend based on results.Management of SMS provider or integrated Marketing Cloud solution.Key Capabilities Required(1) Skills, Capabilities and attributesSkilled communicator, who can produce and explain both written and verbal forms of marketing information, reports and data for management.Analytical skills, able to collate and analyse data, market research, and tracking results to identify new and emerging trends and successful initiatives which drive sales and marketing.Skilled relationship builder with a network of marketing contacts and agency supplier.(2) Behavioural AttributesCreative and adaptable individual who can respond to multiple demands on their time.Self-motivated, thinks outside the box demonstrating innovation.Commercially aware individual who can quickly identify market trends and interpret market research data.(3) Knowledge, Experience and QualificationProficient user of IT; including Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce CRM and Sitecore CMS systems.Previous experience of managing marketing activities for a busy Sales / Marketing function is essential.Experience in a Sales / Marketing management function for House Building or Construction firm is desirable but not essential.Will possess a solid understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.Experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives.Minimum HND / Degree in Marketing or qualified by equivalent experience.Professional membership to the Chartered Institute of Marketing is desirable but not essential.Role DimensionsAble to interpret budgets and sales forecasts and to work within scope of financial parameters to maximise Commercial outcomes through marketing campaigns / initiatives.(2) Decision MakingWill be responsible for managing marketing activities to support Head of Marketing with achievement of project targets and KPI’s.(3) Problem SolvingThe post holder will be able to implement creative marketing ideas and solutions to support achievement of both short term, operational and long term, strategic objectives.(4) PeopleInternal – working within Group marketing department will also build and maintain effective relationships cross- functionally including with Regional Marketing Teams, IT, Design, Commercial and Finance.External - will monitor competitors to understand customer and market requirements and will also manage a network of external contacts including PR, marketing, media and creative agencies.How to applyPlease submit your Curriculum Vitae and covering letter ideally including details of your current salary and notice period.This job advert will close as soon as sufficient applications have been received, and therefore you should apply for this job as soon as possible.(No Agencies Please) #J-18808-Ljbffr
