Location: Wellingborough

Rate: £250/£270 Day Rate

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations on our active construction sites. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities

*

Oversee subcontractors, trades, and labour teams

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies

*

Develop and manage site schedules, workflows, and progress reports

*

Coordinate delivery of materials, equipment, and resources

*

Maintain accurate site documentation, including permits, inspections, and daily logs

*

Conduct regular site meetings with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders

*

Identify and resolve issues that may impact timelines or budgets

*

Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager or similar role

*

Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and H&S standards

*

Excellent leadership and team-management abilities

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans

*

Strong organisational and time-management skills

*

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

*

Proficiency in site management software/tools is a plus

*

Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, NVQ Level 6/7, or equivalent)
