The successful candidate will report into our Group Financial Controller, as well as developing strong working relationships across the business particularly with the Divisional Brand Director and the Site Accountants.The successful candidate will already be an established dealership or divisional accountant and ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Franchised Motor trade experience is essential as is having worked in a role managing multiple sites.You should also be an excellent communicator with the ability to speak to all levels of staff members across our business, along with a proven track record of managing a team. You must have good analytical skills, an eye for detail and be able to effectively prioritise your workload to fit with our tight month end deadlines.ResponsibilitiesLeading the divisional finance team in the delivery of accurate, timely and comprehensive monthly/quarterly and annual management and financial reporting.Working closely with the Divisional Brand Director to provide them with accurate and timely management information.Performing Accounts reviews in conjunction with the Brand Director and Site Dealer Principals.Understanding all Manufacturer Bonus schemes and ensuring that only earned bonuses are accrued.Providing a monthly commentary on the Division’s performance for the Board.Controlling month end shut down on our Dealer Management System (Pinnacle).Overseeing monthly, quarterly and annual tax compliance.Attending operational meetings with the management team as well as liaising with external stakeholders.Liaising with non-financial departments and staff members.Supporting the business on profitable business growth, highlighting the opportunities and risks.What we offer:World class training provided from our own trainer and our brand partners.30 days annual leave inclusive of 8 bank holidays, increasing with length of service.Preferential rates for servicing and repairs on your family and friend’s cars.£25 contribution to eye tests.Cycle to work scheme.Hours8:30-5:00- Monday- FridayWe are an equal opportunity employer.
