Electrical Commissioning Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer / Senior Authorised Person to join our team in Royston. This role is with a global EPC, on an initial 12 month contract outside IR35. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with the installation contractor for the handover of completed electrical works. Manage and supervise vendor personnel during commissioning activities. Perform electrical isolations and implement Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures for equipment and systems. Witness and/or execute testing of electrical equipment and systems to ensure compliance with project standards. Prepare and maintain documentation for handover to the client, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Requirements Certified at to 11 Kv Relevant electrical engineering qualification or equivalent experience. Minimum of 7 years' experience in electrical commissioning and/or high-voltage operations. Senior Authorised Person (SAP) certification for HV systems. Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures, including isolations and LOTO. Experience with testing and commissioning of HV/LV equipment and associated control systems. Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
