Electrical Commissioning Engineer

We are looking for an experiencedElectrical Commissioning Engineer / Senior Authorised Person to join our team in Royston.Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.This role is with a global EPC, on an initial 12 month contract outside IR35.Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with the installation contractor for the handover of completed electrical works.Manage and supervise vendor personnel during commissioning activities.Perform electrical isolations and implement Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures for equipment and systems.Witness and/or execute testing of electrical equipment and systems to ensure compliance with project standards.Prepare and maintain documentation for handover to the client, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Requirements: Certified at to 11 Kv Relevant electrical engineering qualification or equivalent experience.Minimum of 7 years experience in electrical commissioning and/or high-voltage operations.Senior Authorised Person (SAP) certification for HV systems.Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures, including isolations and LOTO.Experience with testing and commissioning of HV/LV equipment and associated control systems.Excellent documentation and reporting skills. xsabvtc Ability to lead and coordinate teams effectively on-site.
