Ricoh Europe is seeking an experienced M&A Director to lead our mergers, acquisitions and divestitures strategy from our London office. As part of Ricoh, you will work within a dynamic, digitally‑focused organization committed to empowering workplaces worldwide. What you will be doing Deal Sourcing and EvaluationIdentify potential merger and acquisition targets through industry research, market analysis and networking. Evaluate targets based on strategic fit, financial performance, market position, and other relevant factors. Conduct preliminary due diligence to assess feasibility and risks. Financial AnalysisPrepare financial models to evaluate the impact of proposed transactions, including valuation, pro‑forma statements and synergy analysis. Assess risks and returns and develop recommendations for senior management. Transaction ExecutionSupport negotiation of deal terms, coordinate due diligence with legal, finance and operations, prepare transaction documents (LOIs, purchase agreements), facilitate the closing of transactions, and assist in integration planning. Market Research and AnalysisStay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape and regulatory developments that may impact M&A activity. Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats aligned with strategic objectives. M&A Strategy and NetworkingDevelop Ricoh Europe M&A strategy aligned with overall Ricoh Europe and Global strategies. Manage a network of M&A advisors to capture new target opportunities. Manage the M&A TeamLead the Ricoh Europe M&A team, delegate tasks, coordinate cross‑functional collaboration, and oversee all phases of M&A projects. Adaptability and Performance MetricsAdapt to changing circumstances, handle deal volume and pipeline, ensure deal success rate, and achieve financial performance metrics. Strategic AlignmentEnsure acquired companies align with strategic objectives and contribute to long‑term growth. Improve market positioning and competitive advantage through M&A activities. You will ideally have Strong understanding of M&A processes, cross‑cultural dynamics and matrix organizational structures, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in M&A activities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills. In‑depth practical experience of the M&A lifecycle and financial statement analysis. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements and a high level of professionalism and integrity. Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (Masters/MSc preferred). Professional Experience 10+ years of experience with a proven track record in international M&A. Team leadership across multiple geographies. Global M&A exposure; experience in B2B IT services and software preferred. In return for your commitment A competitive salary package.
