About the role We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing NPI Engineer to take on a meaningful mission with critical products for military application. You will take ownership, presenting as the technical and manufacturing lead on NPI builds. Key Responsibilities as Senior Manufacturing NPI Engineer Technical and Manufacturing Eng. lead on NPI Builds, owning schedule, cost, Quality standards, and Manufacturing best practices Focus on Circuit Card Assembly & Unit Level assembly Engage from Bid and Proposal through NPI Builds to full rate production Drive DFM, manufacturability analyses, manufacturing data, and Systemic Root Cause and Corrective Action Identify, expedite, or elevate quality or performance issues Support skills training, Manufacturing Engineering metrics, Team KPI, and Goals & Objectives to optimise processes Support Program Cells and the Engineering community Support continuous improvement and lean principles Experience and Knowledge Required HND in Manufacturing / Production Engineering or related discipline Strong electro‑mechanical manufacturing processes knowledge Understanding of electronic and electro‑mechanical product design and operation Contribution to Production Programs’ effectiveness, efficiency and optimisation Promote Design for Excellence (DfX) Lead / participate in process FMEA, design review, and risk mitigation Understanding of 6 Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Manufacturing It Would Be Great If You Have Understanding of electro‑mechanical manufacturing processes Knowledge of Circuit Card Assembly Processes Benefits as Senior Manufacturing NPI Engineer Up to £60k basic salary DOE Company bonus scheme (discretionary) An opportunity to buy and sell up to 5 days holiday (37 hours) Contributory Pension Scheme (up to 10.5% company contribution) 6 times salary “Life Assurance “with pension Flexible Benefits including Health, Cash plan, Dental 37 Hour week Flexible working arrangements upon request Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Manufacturing and Engineering Industries Engineering Services, Manufacturing, and Defense and Space Manufacturing For more information on the role of Senior Manufacturing NPI Engineer feel free to get in touch with Alison Francis on 07341 347640 or email alison@copello.co.uk. #J-18808-Ljbffr
