We currently have a part time, flexible opportunity for an Assembly/Workshop Assistant to join us at our workshop in Dartford. We are among the market leaders in the production of custom brake kits and all the parts for the braking system for all manner of cars; (Road Cars, Classic Cars, Race Cars and Kit Cars) from one off specials to low volume production.We are looking for someone who loves to work with their hands, keep busy and have great attention to detail. If you are pro-active, adaptable, punctual and reliable - do not hesitate to apply.This is a chance to work within a family run business with supportive people who are proud to work for a longstanding British engineering company. We have traditional values and we work in a traditional engineering environment.Previous specific experience is not essential as this is a small, specialised industry with not many companies like us. However, previous relatable experience and an interest in automotive engineering will be beneficial.ResponsibilitiesAssemble products according to specifications and quality standardsClean and polish vehicle components ready for dispatchPerform quality checks on assembled productsMaintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all timesCollaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.Assist in the inventory management of parts and materials as neededQualificationsPrevious workshop and assemble experience is advantageous but not essentialStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team #J-18808-Ljbffr
