**This position is open to Engineer to Associate level with the option to work remotely after 6 months** We are looking for Civil Engineers (all levels) to work on a range of railway drainage projects, including tracked earthworks, drainage systems, embankment stabilisation, culverts, soakaways, and associated civil works. You will be involved in the optioneering, design, planning, and execution of these projects, collaborating closely with contractors, railway operators, and multidisciplinary teams. Support/manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Work with in‑house engineers, external consultants, and clients to deliver effective solutions. Conduct regular site visits to oversee works and ensure compliance with engineering standards. Implement quality control procedures and ensure all work meets industry regulations.Chartered engineers will mentor junior engineers and have opportunities to develop their own team. What you need to succeed Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent industry experience) in Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience in drainage design (railway drainage preferred but transferable skills from highways/water accepted). Ideally to have experience in AutoCAD and MicroStation & Micro Drainage Willingness to obtain PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification if not already held. Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to conduct regular site visits. Driving licence and car #J-18808-Ljbffr
