As a Pastry Chef de Partie at Ottolenghi Islington, you will: Prepare, bake, and present a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods to the highest standards Work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to develop and refine recipes, ensuring consistency and creativity in our pastry offerings Manage your section efficiently, maintaining a well‑organised and clean workspace Ensure all pastries and desserts meet our quality and presentation standards before leaving the kitchen Assist in stock control, ordering, and minimizing food waste Support and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene practices at all times The ideal Pastry Chef de Partie will be: Passionate about pastry and baking, with a strong attention to detail and creativity A dedicated team player who thrives in a collaborative kitchen environment Experienced in a similar role, ideally in a high‑quality, fast‑paced pastry kitchen Confident in managing their section, ensuring precision and consistency Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness What’s in it for you?
