Mechanical CAD Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical CAD Engineer to join a well-established building services contractor based in Shepperton.

You'll be joining a supportive and experienced design team, working on a range of live building services projects - producing detailed drawings, calculations, and technical documentation to support project delivery from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Producing detailed 2D mechanical layout drawings using AutoCAD.

Using Hevacomp software to carry out heating and cooling load calculations.

Preparing and reviewing technical submittals, design documentation, and schedules.

Completing ductwork and pipework loss calculations.

Supporting project teams through design, coordination, and delivery phases.

About You:

Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) and Hevacomp - able to hit the ground running.

Strong understanding of mechanical building services design principles.

Capable of producing accurate, well-presented technical documentation.

Experience working within the UK commercial sector, ideally with CAT-A and CAT-B fit-outs.

Knowledge of CIBSE standards and UK building regulations.
