Electrical Project Engineer About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to manage the technical delivery of a large-scale residential project. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical building systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, budgets, and project timelines. You will coordinate closely with teams, clients, and contractors, handling technical documentation, and maintaining high standards of site quality throughout the project. Electrical Project Engineer Key Responsibilities Manage the technical aspects of projects, focusing on design, installation, and maintenance of electrical building systems. Understand project specifications and Employers Requirements. Liaise with clients, design teams, and specialist subcontractors. Prepare technical submittals and procurement documents. Manage the drawing process and review manufacturing and subcontractor drawings. Oversee procurement, technical submittals, and RFI schedules. Review contract changes and liaise with the commercial team. Ensure the site management team works to the latest project information. Solve on-site problems with the construction team. Review equipment schedules and carry out electrical calculations. Collate certifications, O&M manuals, and handover information. Appraise packages once tenders are returned and produce bid tab sheets. Electrical Project Engineer Qualifications & Experience Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Proven experience in managing electrical projects on large residential developments. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, design standards, and installation practices. Experience in coordinating with clients, contractors, and subcontractors. Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
