Role Overview As the Senior Area Sales Manager – East Midlands North, you will drive customer retention and equipment sales growth working closely with existing customers across a broad range of industries. No two days are the same. We will provide you with in-depth training to learn our products and industry, enabling you to sell a range of Linx coding and marking equipment, including industrial small character inkjet, high‑resolution case printing and laser solutions. In addition to selling hardware, you will promote a variety of finance and service agreements. This fully remote role is ideal for candidates located near Derby, Sheffield, Doncaster or Lincoln. Typical Responsibilities Business development and expansion of equipment sales by partnering with customers. Developing relationships at all levels, up to senior leadership. Planning and prioritising your own diary for both long‑term and short‑term projects. Managing sales activity through KPIs and using our corporate CRM (SalesForce.com). Participating in regional and national trade shows and onsite equipment demonstrations at customer sites. Essential Requirements Willingness to travel up to four days per week, including nights away from home when required. A proven track record in account management and evidence of sustained growth. Solution selling of capital equipment. Ability to take ownership over a broad portfolio of customers. Excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of a CRM, preferably Salesforce.com, is advantageous. Preferred Qualifications Experience of solution selling into a manufacturing or production environment. An interest in technology. A background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
