Location: EF International Language Campus, TorquayStart Date: 17th of November 2025Employment Type: Full-time ContractSalary: £29,000 - £31,000 per annum Company: EF Education First Position: Homestay Accommodation Manager EF Education First is seeking a proactive and service‑oriented Homestay Accommodation Manager to lead our accommodation operations at the EF Torquay International Language Campus. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee our homestay and private accommodation network, ensuring every student enjoys a true “home away from home” experience. You’ll manage and inspire a dedicated team, strengthen relationships with hosts and suppliers, and drive continuous improvements in quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Manage recruitment, re‑registration & monitoring of suitable homestay and private home accommodation. Manage a team of full‑time and part‑time homestay coordinators, recruiters, and visitors. Supervise the team to ensure targets are met, providing guidance and ensuring daily, weekly and quarterly deadlines are achieved. Lead generation – identify potential new opportunities and recruitment channels. Ensure students are allocated to appropriate accommodation within EFGold Standards and in accordance with EF Torquay’s safeguarding policy for under 18s. Ensure student queries regarding accommodation are handled and logged appropriately with regard for excellent customer service. Monitor student evaluation of accommodation and respond to comments and complaints to ensure a satisfactory resolution. Liaise with the finance department to ensure prompt and accurate payment to accommodation providers. Qualifications Team management experience and proven leadership skills. Ability to ensure personal and team KPIs are met. Motivated by working with challenging targets. Sales oriented. Strong customer service skills. Confident with IT and different systems. A flexible approach to work and hours of work. Highly organised with attention to details. Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm and positive under pressure.
