Gymnastics Lead  Start Date: January 2026  Contract Type: Part‑time, permanent  Hours: 23.5 hours per week, 36 weeks of the year (term‑time) Monday 10:30am – 5:30pm (6.5 hours, plus 30‑min unpaid lunch break) Tuesday 8:30am – 5:30pm (8.5 hours, plus 30‑min unpaid lunch break) Wednesday 1:00pm – 5:30pm (4.5 hours, no lunch break) Thursday 8:30am – 12:30pm (4 hours, no lunch break)  Pay: Up to £20,925 per annum (based on an FTE of £41,921, depending on qualifications and experience)  plus a generous benefits package which includes a Health Cash Plan, free Will‑Writing service, daily hot lunch and much more – see our full benefits package here. What you'll do Inspire, teach and coach pupils of all abilities – from enthusiastic beginners to confident performers. Lead the planning and delivery of the pre‑squad and advanced programme, supporting progression into the Senior School squad. Act as the main point of contact for gymnastics at the Girls’ Preparatory School, offering advice and encouragement to pupils, staff and parents. Ensure safety and compliance by checking equipment and following health and safety guidelines. Support pupils during competitions and showcases, helping them perform at their best. Assist with the day‑to‑day organisation of the Gymnastics Programme and maintain equipment in top condition. What we’re looking for Essential British Gymnastics Coaching Level 2 qualification. Proven experience coaching young people in gymnastics. Desirable Evidence of further professional development in gymnastics or sports coaching. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire pupils.
