A rapidly growing renewable energy company is looking for a skilled Solar PV Project Manager to take ownership of a variety of commercial and industrial solar projects. If you’re confident in both the technical and management sides of project delivery and want a role where you can actually influence outcomes.
The Role
This position gives you full responsibility for delivering solar PV and BESS projects from the early planning stages right through to completion. You’ll be working closely with senior leadership, engineering teams and clients, ensuring smooth delivery, high standards, and safe working practices across every site.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing solar PV and BESS projects typically between 100kWp and 3MW.
* Overseeing the complete project lifecycle, including design review, planning, installation supervision and commissioning.
* Coordinating subcontractors, internal engineers and client stakeholders.
* The Solar Project Manager must carry out or overseeing AC/DC testing, system checks, inverter configuration and compliance requirements (including G100).
* Ensuring all work meets safety, quality and regulatory standards.
* The Solar Project Manager must prepare documentation and ensuring smooth transition to handover.
* Handling occasional site visits (usually 1–2 days per week).
About You
* 17th or 18th Edition qualified with strong experience in commercial solar PV and battery storage.
* Confident managing projects from design through to installation and completion.
* Strong understanding of testing procedures, commissioning processes and electrical compliance.
* The Solar Project Manager must hold relevant H&S qualifications such as SMSTS, SSSTS, CSCS or ECS.
* Self-driven, organised, and comfortable working remotely while managing multiple projects.
* Able to travel for short periods for on-site checks and project oversight
