OverviewBanana Moon Day Nurseries is a leading provider of high-quality childcare and early years education. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team in delivering exceptional care and education to children.As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day management of the nursery. You will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, overseeing the implementation of the curriculum, and ensuring the smooth running of operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Nursery Manager in implementing and maintaining policies and proceduresSupport and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance and training as neededEnsure the nursery is compliant with regulatory requirements and health and safety guidelinesBuild positive relationships with children, families, and staff, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respectAssist in planning and organizing age-appropriate activities and learning experiences for childrenContribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery\'s quality of care and educationRequirementsMinimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience in a senior role within an early years settingSound knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirementsExperience in leading and motivating a team of nursery staffExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDBS clearance and relevant safeguarding trainingBenefitsThe opportunity to manage a well established Day Nursery with high end furniture and resourcesAbove market average salary (£30,000 per annum based on experience and qualification)A unique curriculum that focuses on the wellbeing of staff, children, and familiesA bespoke electronic \'Parent App\', giving instant messages to and from parents about their child\'s day and development, minimising the requirement for excessive paperworkState of the art technology, including a biometric entry system, iPads, and interactive screensGreat holiday entitlementOn the job training and support from a national franchiseCareer advancement opportunitiesFree Enhanced DBS check #J-18808-Ljbffr
