Business Development Director – LawDeb Join to apply for the Business Development Director role at The Law Debenture Group. Location: London or Manchester office. Role Overview Responsible for shaping and driving the Business Development, Sales and Marketing strategy for our Company Secretarial Services (CSS) division, collaborating closely with the Head of CSS and the Head of Business Development. Main Responsibilities Deliver incremental revenue in line with the UK CSS annual budget targets. Devise and deliver the CSS Business Development Plan, with objectives including cross‑selling product lines from other business units. Generate marketing activity and drive brand recognition to ensure services are sustainable, accretive, and consistent with the group’s brand. Build and nurture business relationships with target clients, ensuring commercial agreements sustain and improve operating profit margin. Maintain pipeline development and prospect management, ensuring high momentum. Coordinate bid management, delivering compelling and competitive proposals. Monitor competitors, market trends and communicate evolving value proposition to internal stakeholders. Encourage cross‑selling introductions across all parts of the group business. Develop mutually beneficial referral partnerships. Devise and implement the sales, marketing and communications strategy. Own the UKCSS BDM Plan, integrating activities such as digital collateral, brochures, literature, bulletin production, and print management. Drive LawDeb’s CSS business social media presence. Identify publicity/value of LawDeb cases, client wins, and new services. Monitor formal and informal broadcast, print and social media coverage. Undertake market research including competitor analysis, demographic and economic reviews. Collect, review and analyse market information to identify new opportunities and challenges. Essential Knowledge, Skills, Experience Degree level education with evidence of further study. Extensive experience in professional services business development, sales and communications with a reputable brand. Extensive, demonstrable and relevant professional network. Skilled at developing relationships with colleagues and external professionals including clients, partners and the press. Experience executing a BDM budget to optimise ROI.
