Responsibilities Receive comprehensive on‑the‑job training in heavy equipment preventative maintenance. Perform inspections, adjustments, and repairs to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation. Follow maintenance schedules, conduct routine checks, and proactively address issues to reduce downtime. Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a positive work ethic. Safely operate company vehicles and equipment (CDL required, tanker and hazmat endorsements preferred or willingness to obtain). Work in coordination with team members while maintaining accurate maintenance records. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements, or willingness to obtain (clean MVR required). Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Basic computer skills for logging maintenance activities. Technical certifications a plus. Physical Demands Regular standing, walking, bending, and kneeling on job sites. Ability to climb safely in and out of equipment. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, dust, wet, noisy). Ability to work around live traffic and on uneven jobsite surfaces.
