Read more about our story at: www.iplglobal.com The role We have vacancies for Quality Technicians to join the team at our site off Hedon Road, Hull (HU9). Our Hull site is an experienced leader in the injection and blow moulding industry, housing state of the art machinery. IPL Hull takes initiative on providing eco-friendly solutions and prides themselves on delivering products specifically tailored to their customers' needs. Key products include the “One Nest” stacking crate, jerry cans, Water Butt, composter, kerbside boxes, food waste containers, and nestable bale arm trays. This integral role on shift is accountable for the full quality monitoring of our production process, from inspecting raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity, to inspecting the goods out process against customer specifications. You will work across functions to improve the quality of products and enhance customer satisfaction. This is a full-time site-based role working to a shift pattern of 12 hour shifts covering days, nights and weekends. Key Responsibilities Monitor the production process and perform regular tests to identify potential problems and malfunctions in the early stages. Carry out First-off tests to ensure compliance with product specifications. Identify the root causes of production issues and prepare reports and documentation on malfunctions to determine corrective measures. Collate production data for reporting purposes. Review product blueprints for testing and quality documentation. Track quality assurance goals and KPIs. About You Previous experience of working within a fast paced manufacturing environment. The ability to work independently as the standalone quality colleague on shift and to communicate effectively with team members in order to collaborate and drive improvements. Previous experience within a Quality Role (preferable). The ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative in a fast-paced, challenging environment. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to be comfortable interacting at all levels of the organisation. Good knowledge of health and safety processes and procedures, ensuring these are prioritised at all times.
