Summary We are building a gas efficient fully decentralized exchange (DEX) and are looking for a Staff Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys creating, managing and maintaining the versatile infrastructure used by DEX backend systems. You will be an important member of our company, making history by contributing to the development of the first fully decentralized perpetuals exchange built around a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB), entirely on an EVM-compatible chain You will develop and maintain bare-metal and cloud environments, service orchestration, network connectivity, databases, blockchain nodes and observability to the highest standards of reliability, performance and security. Although this project centres around a blockchain system, previous experience with blockchain is not a hard requirement but keen interest in the topic is a must. Responsibilities Create code that instantiates production and test infrastructure components Monitor the performance of infrastructure components, addressing failures or scalability needs Maintain constant focus on infrastructure and operational security Design, implement, and maintain both traditional CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based workflows. Work cross functionally with other engineers, internal and external teams to ensure rigorous infrastructure planning, timely implementation and cost efficiency. Qualifications 5+ years of experience. Experience configuring, deploying and monitoring secure production backend systems at scale comprised of the following components: Ansible- and Terraform-based automated deployments Bare-metal and cloud computing Networking Data Pipeline Tools Relational, In-Memory, and Time-series Databases Kubernetes Notification Systems Experience with cloud infrastructure best practices around automation, identity management, and security, having created and maintained infrastructure for production grade systems. Experience building highly available, fault-tolerant systems with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and load testing to ensure reliability under production workloads. Experience running chaos monkey, penetration testing, and other security best practices. Experience leading cross-functional efforts to launch products. Excellent oral, written and visual communication skills.
