About Northern Nest Nursery Northern Nest Nursery is preparing to open its doors in early 2026. We’re looking for a confident, inspiring leader to help bring our vision to life. The nursery will provide a nurturing, inclusive, and community‑rooted environment for children aged 0–5. What You’ll Do Champion safeguarding and wellbeing for every child Lead by example, ensuring full compliance with the EYFS Framework and all relevant legislation, while demonstrating a strong understanding of best practice Lead and inspire a team of early years professionals Ensure high standards of care, learning, safety and hygiene Manage day‑to‑day operations including occupancy, staffing and administration Build strong relationships with families and the local community Help shape the nursery’s identity, ethos, and future ambitions What We’re Looking For A qualified and experienced early years leader (Level 5 or above) A confident manager with a passion for child development and inclusive practice Someone who is excited to be involved in a new Early Years Setting and will be integral in building something from the ground up and shaping a shared vision with Co‑Founders An effective communicator who values teamwork, creativity, and community Why Join Northern Nest?
