Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the friendly Critical Care Outreach team at Whipps Cross Hospital. You will be responsible for providing the highest standard of expertise as a first responder for acutely ill and deteriorating ward based patients. On a daily basis you will be required to provide advice and guidance for nursing practice within the hospital. Responsibilities Provide expert first responder care for acutely ill and deteriorating ward based patients. Offer advice and guidance for nursing practice within the hospital. Support the development of skills within all clinical areas through informal and formal teaching to ensure high standards and safe care in all clinical areas. Work closely with a large multi‑disciplinary team in Critical Care Services. Lead by example as an expert practitioner and role model. Qualifications Registered general nurse. Degree in nursing and a post‑registration qualification in critical care. Advanced assessment skills. Ability to communicate in complex situations.
