SportBuff on Android We are looking for an Android engineer to join our Android team. As an Android engineer at SportBuff you will participate in the development and maintenance of our Android SDK. Our codebase is purely in Kotlin using the MVVM design pattern and Jetpack Compose for our UI designs. Responsibilities Develop and maintain the Android SDK of Sport Buff Code new features Write technical documentation Participate and run code reviews Prototype new and redesign features Qualifications 2+ years experience developing native mobile Android applications 2+ years experience programming in Kotlin Experience with unit testing and test-driven development Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON Experience with Android UI principles and best practices Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Experience working with Jetpack Compose (basic concepts) Bonus Points Experience writing Android Libraries Experience working with GraphQL Experience with Agile development and rapid iteration cycles A background in startups Being a fan of live sports What can you expect from us Working directly with some of the greatest sports brands in the world Work in an exciting fast-paced tech startup environment Working with sports and esports Direct access to senior team members (CEO, CTO, VPs, etc.) A highly passionate team who will support you along the way Working with the latest technology to create a new experience for the public A fantastic learning experience with long-term potential from being one of the first hires in a growing team and product Being part of something special as we change how sports fans engage with content At Sport Buff, you are a key member of the team and will own aspects of the product and company (with the employee equity scheme).
