Are you ready for the next step in your career journey? We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our client's structural engineering consultancy, in a permanent position. This leading organisation is offering one individual the opportunity to operate from their Birmingham office to work on a large variety of projects, with a focus on pavement, drainage, and highway design. Join now to oversee a team of engineers and design and develop several civil systems. Competitive salary ranging from 50,000- 60,000 (depending on experience). Responsibilities Oversee structural engineering design activities, from concept to completion, across a variety of multidisciplinary projects, ranging from Residential to Commercial. Manage professional teams, focusing on performance, reviews task delegation, and junior engineer mentoring, promoting professional development. Produce, develop, and review structural drawings, specifications, reports, and calculations, throughout all project stages. Support business development through client presentations, proposal preparation, and ensuring brilliance through new advancements within structural engineering. Coordinate with architects, internal stakeholders, contractors, and clients to suggest and implement structural solutions, enhancing project efficiency and accuracy. Monitor and oversee project delivery, programme milestones, and budgets, identifying potential risks and concerns early, allowing for appropriate escalation. What We Are Looking For Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline, with a chartered status, or actively working towards achieving one. Profound demonstratable experience managing teams and producing works for a variety of projects, ideally working on drainage, pavement, and highway designs. Strong understanding of relevant software tools, such as Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar. Significant technical understanding of structural elements and materials, as well as relevant regulations, design codes, construction strategies, and industry best practices. Effective communication and team management skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with industry experts and relevant bodies. Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and problem‑solving mindset, as well as a drive to promote project and business progression and development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
