Job DescriptionOur client, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a crucial role in managing and designing infrastructure projects.Key Responsibilities:Managing the planning and design stages of civil engineering projectsPerforming due diligence on the impact and feasibility of new construction sitesOverseeing all project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designsSurveying new construction sites and assessing existing infrastructure for upgradesDesigning and recommending improvements to CAD software drawings and schematicsPerforming cost estimations and preparing project budgetsPreparing work schedules, allocating resources, and supervising junior engineers and contractorsEnsuring civil engineering projects are completed on time and within budgetInspecting completed projects for compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standardsDocumenting processes and presenting project progress updates to senior managers and clientsJob Requirements:Bachelor's degree in civil engineeringExperience working as a Senior Civil Engineer on comparable projectsProficiency in civil engineering software, such as Civil 3D and micro-Drainage, as well as CADIn-depth knowledge of civil engineering and construction specifications, standards, and codesStrong leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsSuperb mathematical, time-management, and organisational abilitiesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAvailability to perform construction site visits, when relevantBenefits:Competitive salary packageOpportunity to work on significant and impactful infrastructure projectsProfessional development and training opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative work environmentComprehensive employee benefits packageIf you are a dedicated and highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer looking to further your career within the highways sector, we would love to hear from you.
