The Role Unveiled thebigword is a global leader in language services and technology and we are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Project Administrator to join our close-knit team working in a fast paced and varied industry, collaborating to deliver the best for our clients and drive our personal and professional growth. We manage our clients’ written communication whether it be books, websites or the schematics for a nuclear submarine Your Role in Action We work with some of the largest corporations in the world/global organisations across the public and private sectors, a wide array of industries, from automotive to pharmaceutical to the worlds largest sports clubs. We link our clients to our team of professional linguists and specialists, providing over 250 language combinations to meet our clients’ demands. All of our teams work closely together and are supported by the wider team and our technology division. They take responsibility for each call and in turn have a lot of autonomy but in turn, have support there when it’s required. This is primarily a office-based role in our Leeds office and is fixed-term in line with the length of the apprenticeship. Deliver team and client administration tasks with accuracy, attention to detail, and pride in your work. Stay cool under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and keeping projects on track. Manage your time like a pro—balancing priorities and asking for support when needed. Build strong, positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners. Communicate clearly and confidently—both verbally and in writing. Coordinate and collaborate with linguists, DTP suppliers, and in-house technical specialists to get great results. Respond to supplier and linguist queries quickly and helpfully. Follow processes that keep our projects running smoothly and efficiently. Play your part in achieving our company goals and driving success. Support the team by preparing accurate, high-quality quotations for clients.
