This focus has ensured that the council is in a strong position financially, with a balanced MTFS, and we are now seeking to appoint to a key Principal Accountant post within the finance team who will help to ensure that the council’s long‑term financial health and sustainability is maintained. The ’Principal Accountant – Revenue’ post is responsible for leading the in‑year budget monitoring and reporting process, playing a key role in the annual budget setting process and statement of accounts production., as well as line managing a small team of Accountants. If you have the skills and experience to provide financial advice and guidance across the organisation whilst supporting the Deputy S151 Officer in their role of providing professional financial advice to services, the leadership team, Council and Cabinet, then we would love to hear from you.
