About the role: As a Professional Studies Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering high-quality, engaging training programmes. Your expertise will shape the future of leadership and management by developing both commercial courses and apprenticeship programmes across areas such as leadership, management, coaching, and business administration-supporting team leaders, middle managers, and executive managers. Through your passion for learning and coaching, you will empower future leaders to reach their full potential using a blended approach of face-to-face sessions and virtual workshops. You will collaborate closely with IQAs to ensure all content meets rigorous quality standards and complies with Awarding and End Point Assessment Organisation requirements.Additionally, your commercial acumen will enable you to support the sales and business development team by conducting training needs analyses and helping secure new contracts. You will be flexible in your approach by being able to deliver workshops via Teams or based in our client's sites across the UK permanent, full-time position offering a hybrid home-working arrangement, with a primary base at either Oxford College or Reading College and requiring national travel to client sites. What do you need to be successful as a Professional Studies Trainer at Activate Learning? We are looking for a management professional with at least 5 years' experience in middle to senior management roles and a strong understanding of apprenticeship and commercial training. You will hold a Coaching or Mentoring qualification and possess excellent skills in designing and delivering engaging curriculum, alongside strong English, Maths, and digital capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning platforms such as Canvas, coupled with outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, is essential. Highly motivated, professional, approachable, and a team player, you will also have a full clean driving licence, access to a vehicle, and the flexibility to travel across the UK.
