UK Employment Tax Assistant Manager

The RoleAs an Employment Tax Manager, you'll be a key advisor to clients on complex UK employment tax matters, including PAYE, NIC, benefits in kind, IR35, and HMRC compliance. You'll manage a diverse portfolio, lead client engagements, and mentor junior colleagues, all while contributing to business development and service innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead employment tax advisory and compliance projectsAct as the primary contact for clients, building trusted relationshipsProvide IR35 guidance and manage employment status assessmentsOversee project delivery, finances, and scope managementSupport and coach junior team membersIdentify opportunities for growth and cross-service collaborationAbout YouStrong technical expertise in UK employment taxProven experience advising on IR35 and managing compliance risksExcellent organisational and interpersonal skillsCommercially aware with a track record of portfolio growthATT and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent) preferredExperience mentoring and developing junior staffWhy Join?You'll be part of a people-first culture that values simplicity, collaboration, and personal growth.
