As Nursery Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of nursery management, ensuring that a high-quality Gaelic Medium childcare service is provided for all children and their families.ResponsibilitiesLead high-quality childcare and early‑years education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.Plan and implement curriculum in line with the Curriculum for Excellence, National Care Standards, Realising the Ambition and the Quality Improvement Framework.Ensure regulatory compliance and integration with Cothrom adult learning services.Work closely with the Cothrom Manager to embed services within the wider community.QualificationsFluent in Gaelic.Hold a qualification that meets SSSC requirements for practitioner/managers, or you must be willing to gain an appropriate qualification while in post.Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.Knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence, National Care Standards, Realising the Ambition and the Quality Improvement Framework for the Early Learning and Childcare Sectors.Highly qualified with expertise in early childhood learning and development.Additional InformationThis post is full-time but may offer some flexibility for the right candidate.All duties are carried out within Cothrom Learning Centre, a registered charity providing services to the South Uist community. #J-18808-Ljbffr
