The company operates as a mid-sized enterprise with a strong focus on delivering quality products and maintaining efficient financial practices. Responsibilities Manage and support a team of four Accounts Assistants Oversee all transactional processes, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, cashbook, and bank reconciliations Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely posting of all transactions Ensure VAT returns and other statutory submissions are accurate and submitted on time Implement and maintain strong financial controls and efficient processes Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Prepare and manage budgets to support the organisation's strategic goals. Analyse financial data to provide insights for decision-making. Manage cash flow and optimise financial resources effectively. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes. Monitor and control costs to enhance profitability. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements. Provide leadership to the accounting team and support professional development ProfileA successful Finance Manager should have: Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards. A meticulous finance professional with a strong track record in financial accounting and transactional finance Confident managing a small team and fostering a positive, supportive environment Highly organised, analytical, and committed to accuracy Comfortable in a busy, fast-moving environment where no two days are the same Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting systems Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000 per annum.
