About the Role
As a Transport Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the transport office running smoothly. Reporting to the Transport Manager, your support will help ensure all compliance, communication, and paperwork are accurate and timely.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records of driver hours, vehicle checks, and delivery paperwork
* Schedule and allocate daily vehicle routes for collections and deliveries
* Liaise with drivers, customers, and suppliers to resolve queries
* Support compliance with training, licence, and health & safety records
* Prepare reports and assist with monitoring operational performance
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous administrative experience, ideally in transport or logistics (Tesco, Evri, GXO experience is a plus)
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Clear and confident communication skills
* Knowledge of transport compliance and Working Time Directive desirable
