As an SEN Supply Teacher, you will: Deliver pre-planned lessons and adapt activities to meet individual needs Follow established classroom routines to maintain consistency for pupils Work closely with TAs and take guidance from SENCOs and class teachers Use visual supports, communication systems, structured teaching approaches, and sensory strategies Build quick, positive relationships to support engagement and behaviour Support personal care routines where required Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and reporting procedures in each school Long-term supply roles may include planning and assessment and will be paid in line with the Teacher Pay Scale (MPS/UPS). Start: January onwards Work Type: Day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and long-term supply roles Availability: Full-time or part-time Term-time only Competitive daily rates, with pay-to-scale (MPS/UPS) for long-term bookings CPD offered, including training in autism, sensory regulation, and communication systems Location: Basingstoke and surrounding areas (e.g., Chineham, Hook, Tadley, Whitchurch) This role is ideal for: Qualified teachers (QTS/QTLS), including ECTs Teachers with SEN, autism, MLD/SLD, or complex needs experience Confident supply teachers comfortable adapting to new classes Mainstream teachers exploring SEN teaching Patient, creative educators with a child‑centred, flexible approach QTS or QTLS Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain) Right to work in the UK To apply Please submit your CV.
