Crisis Hub Officer Location: Remote Salary: £24,240-£24,995 per annum, pro rata Hours: 28 per week (Friday-Monday 7.30am - 3.30pm) Contract: Permanent Are you ready to be the calm voice and quick thinker when emergencies unfold across the UK? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where every call could change a life? As a Crisis Hub Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our 24/7 emergency response service. You’ll manage urgent requests from statutory partners, coordinate the deployment of crisis teams, and offer vital support to people in distress. Could you be the person who ensures help reaches those who need it most, exactly when they need it? What will a day in the life of a Crisis Hub Officer involve? Handling incoming calls from partners and the public, offering practical and emotional support. Coordinating the deployment of emergency response teams across the UK. Supporting and managing volunteers responding to crisis situations. Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and teams remain supported. To be a successful Crisis Hub Officer, what will you need? A calm, empathetic telephone manner and strong communication skills. Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and remote call centre platforms. Experience working in high-pressure environments, ideally in call handling or emergency response. The ability to think quickly, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure. Interested? The closing date for applications is 23.59 on Tuesday 16th December.
