Our client is a long‑established, highly profitable construction company working across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors. With a 20m annual spend, they're looking for a Head Buyer who can lead from the front, drive performance, and elevate procurement standards. What You’ll Do Lead and mentor a small buying team Manage 20m spend across multi‑site projects Negotiate with suppliers on a project‑by‑project basis Work closely with Site Agents & Quantity Surveyors Ensure best pricing, availability, and lead times on every product Maintain accurate supplier data and stock visibility Implement purchasing best practice and new processes Continue buying yourself while directing the wider team About You Strong construction procurement background Experienced team leader who leads by example Excellent negotiator and commercially driven Skilled with suppliers, QS teams, and operational colleagues Confident managing high spend and multiple projects simultaneously Organised, proactive, and results‑oriented If you want to step into a pivotal role with real influence and responsibility - we’d love to hear from you.
