Speech and Language Therapist Location: Park School – Oxfordshire, OX7 5QH (Acorn Education brand) Posted: today Job Description We are seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team at Park School. You will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence, or SEMH needs, working within the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working and supporting the school’s inclusive education approach. Role You will manage a Speech and Language Therapy caseload, collaborate with the education team, contribute to staff training and consultation, and support the development of our SaLT service. Location Park School – Oxfordshire, OX7 5QH (Acorn Education brand) Essential Criteria Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy HCPC registered Relevant experience with complex and diverse communication profiles Knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma‑informed practice Experience in multidisciplinary teamwork across settings Experience communicating with families, carers and relatives Interest in developing knowledge in diverse SaLT areas Strong relationship building, analytical and judgmental skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Good time management and organisational skills Competence in core SaLT practice and understanding of RCSLT standards Familiarity with SaLT assessment tools, intervention types and support plan formulation Knowledge of relevant legislation and its impact on clinical practice Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team Willingness to attend training and pursue further qualifications related to the client group Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle Desirable Understanding of sensory and motor differences affecting communication Knowledge of the relationship between arousal levels and communication Why Work for Us?
