Specialist Speech and Language Therapist Are you a skilled Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact? The Together Trust is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to deliver high-quality services in mainstream schools across Greater Manchester. You’ll work with a diverse range of students, supporting their communication development while contributing to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. Main duties of the job Deliver specialist SaLT services at Universal, Targeted and Specialist levels. Work autonomously to provide assessment, therapy, training and consultancy. Support students, school staff, families and carers with evidence-based interventions. Supervise and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to professional development and clinical governance. Be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners. Qualifications Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration. Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. Experience working with young people and adults with complex needs, learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Conditions. Ability to deliver training and consultancy, manage a caseload autonomously and provide clinical supervision. Knowledge of best practice, assessment tools and embedding therapy into learning activities.
