What you’ll do Supervise and support a team of nightshift cleaning operatives, ensuring all duties are completed to the highest standard. Allocate daily tasks, manage workflow, and monitor performance to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment across all assigned areas (e.g., office spaces, laboratories, corridors, communal zones). Carry out routine inspections and quality checks, proactively addressing any issues. Provide hands-on cleaning support when required, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the team. Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation procedures, ensuring staff follow correct protocols at all times. Act as the primary contact for nightshift operations, escalating issues and communicating effectively with site management. Support new starters with training, guidance, and ongoing development. What you’ll bring Previous cleaning or facilities experience—supervisory experience is highly desirable, but strong supervision skills and a positive attitude are equally valued. Ability to motivate, guide, and support a team while maintaining high operational standards. Strong communication skills (spoken and written) with the confidence to brief staff and complete basic reporting. Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
