You will contribute technical expertise across networking, compute, storage, identity, and observability, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with architectural standards. This role is ideal for someone with deep hands‑on experience in cloud infrastructure who is looking to further develop their skills and contribute to major transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure, supporting business and technical requirements. Work with the Lead Cloud Infrastructure Architect and other team members to deliver on the cloud roadmap and modernisation activities. Apply architectural standards, patterns, and best practices across well‑architected pillars (security, reliability, performance, cost, operations). Support the implementation of automated governance guardrails in collaboration with security, platform engineering, and operations teams. Contribute to the adoption of cloud‑native architectures, automation, DevSecOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Participate in technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and proof‑of‑concept initiatives. Produce high‑quality technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and best practices, and support the development of junior team members as appropriate. About the Candidate The ideal candidate will possess the following: Strong knowledge of Azure and associated services. Solid understanding of networking, identity management, security, and compliance in Azure. Experience modernising core infrastructure services into cloud platforms. Familiarity with the well‑architected framework. Experience with containerisation (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), serverless architectures, and microservices. Good communication and collaboration skills. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost management strategies. Background in software engineering or infrastructure operations. Our Benefits There’s more to working life than coming home with a good salary. We have an environment where you can learn, get involved, and be supported.
