Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Market Strategy & Planning, you’ll lead the development of customer and product mix strategies, pricing plans, and promotional frameworks that support our volume and profitability goals. You’ll represent sales in NPD projects, ensuring new launches are commercially viable and strategically aligned, while also driving range optimisation and harmonisation across markets. You’ll be a key voice in commercial forums, providing clear communication and insight to ensure alignment across teams. Evaluating performance across promotions, sectors, and core ranges will be central to your role, helping to refine strategy and drive continuous improvement. You’ll also support the wider team, build strong internal relationships, and take ownership of your personal development to stay ahead in a fast‑moving FMCG environment. The position will be based from our Leeds office circa 2‑3 days per week, along with the opportunity to work flexibly/remotely when required. Qualifications Demonstrable background in a commercially focused (National Account Management, Category Management or Commercial Finance) role within the FMCG industry and the UK retail sector Excellent commercial business acumen with a working knowledge of UK grocery retail customers High‑level analytical ability with advanced proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel Self‑sufficiency and motivation to drive success in a competitive category Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills Recruitment Process Every application will receive a response regardless of being successful or unsuccessful.
